Pecha Kucha Presentation
The Impact of Covid-19 Pandemic on Adolescents Mental Health
For PBHL-H245, Professionalism in the Healthcare Workplace, we created a presentation using only pictures. We were allowed to choose any health-related topic, but we were only limited to 15 slides and a 5-minute presentation.

What I learned
I chose this assignment because during my junior year, leading into my senior year, everything got shut down due to COVID-19. As a result, I didn't get to experience my senior year the way students before me did. During that time, I began to experience anxiety due to the uncertainty surrounding the pandemic. There was a lot of fear and confusion about how COVID-19 was spreading, and we had to limit going outside to protect ourselves and our family members.
This presentation helped me realize that I wasn't alone-many teens were experiencing mental health challenges during this time. It pushed me to explore statistics and data more deeply, which helped me better understanding the impact to the pandemic on mental health. I also learned about the different approaches states were taking to support students, which broadened my perspective on public health and mental health resources."
